This 2022 Chardonnay is relatively quiet on the nose, but it leads with salted peach, a suggestion of curry leaf, loads of maritime brine and peppercorns. On the palate, the wine is powerful, salty and delicious. The flavors build upon each other as they parade over the tongue, and the wine lingers long into the finish. This is an exciting wine here! I love to see this quality in the under-$30 segment.
This was tasted blind as part of the "Value for Money" tasting in September 2023. RRP $30 AUD.
