All barrel fermented and aged, with wild yeasts and 20% new oak (a mix of puncheons and barriques), Flametree's 2016 Chardonnay is nicely balanced, with the oak coming through as a gentle suggestion of almond butter that accents bright pineapple fruit. Crisp and refreshing, this is a pristine Chardonnay that should drink well for 2-3 years.
