The light-styled 1994 Barolo Rocche exhibits fruit and structure - not an ideal match for this vintage. The wine possesses adequate quantities of cedar, spice, smoky new oak, and cherry fruit, but comes across as restrained and one-dimensional when compared to the Giachini. It should drink well for 5-6 years.A Marc de Grazia Selection, various American importers, including Michael Skurnik, Syosset, NY; tel. (516) 677-9300, Vin Divino, Chicago, IL; tel.
