The 2014 Les Eres is a blend of old-vine Cari?ena (70%), Garnacha Peluda (25%) and Garnacha Negra (5%) aged in new French oak barrels for 19 months. It's extremely oaky and quite ripe, with a medium-bodied palate dominated by the flavors and texture of the oak. 4,100 bottles were filled in May 2017.

The 2008 Les Eres is a blend of 45% Carinena, 35% Garnacha and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon from 80- to 100-year-old vines raised entirely in new French oak. That comes through on the nose and at the moment, it gets in the way of the fruit profile and expression of terroir. The palate is full-bodied and very oaky, which is a shame because there is obviously some very decent, enjoyable fruit down below. It is rendered a little “anonymous” in the winery. Drink 2016-2025. 7 Pungent up front, with dry bayberry, leather, jam notes and schisty minerality. The palate is all about structure, snappy acids, sinewy tannins and lively, full-force red-fruit and plum flavors. Deep, sweet and lusty on the nose, with a hint of animal and whole lot of black fruit. The palate is saturated and jammy, with roasted, ripe berry flavors and a ripe, silky finish.
