A kitchen-sink blend of 38% Merlot, 29% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Syrah, 8% Cabernet Franc, 5% Malbec, 5% Petit Verdot and 1% each of Touriga Nacional, Tinta Cao and Souzao, the 2016 Red Mountain Blend is red-fruited with soft oak tones and an undercurrent of mild earthiness and minerality. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has soft, funky-tinged fruits and remains balanced across the mid-palate before showing gripping tannins across the lingering finish.
