Logging an older vintage, the 2007 Red Mountain Blend is composed of 56% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Syrah and 6% Cabernet Franc. The wine shows mature characteristics on the nose, with oxidative nutty notes and a core of dried fruit aromas along with prominent earth and leather tones. The wine is medium to full-bodied and slightly dried out on the palate. I recommend drinking this bottle in the next year or two, if it is still in your cellar. 11,950 cases produced.
