The Cesari 2016 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Il Bosco (a blend of 80% Corvina and 20% Rondinella from a site with reddish marl soils) offers medium intensity and faded fruit aromas with dried rose, blackberry confit and baked plum. The wine shows an evolved character with smoky tar and spice at the back (with a 15.5% alcohol content). Some 30,000 bottles were released.

There are plenty of rich, dried fruit layers with fig, prune and raisin. This full-bodied blend of 80% Corvina and 20% Rondinella wraps thickly over the palate, imparting big ripeness, texture and intensity. Production is 30,000 bottles.
