The 2008 Castillo de Montblanc Tempranillo (which contains 15% Cabernet Sauvignon), received brief aging in American oak. Medium ruby-colored, it gives up a pleasing perfume of spice box and blackberry leading to an elegant, spicy, smooth-textured wine with good balance and length.
