The 2014 Pinot Noir Select was picked on September 14 in just four days and unlike other vintages, Doug Tunnell elected to completely destem this vintage due to the early harvest. It has a crisp cranberry and strawberry preserve bouquet with a touch of damp earth underneath. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannin, a little chunky at the moment with a grippy, quite saline finish. Give this another 12-18 months to fully coalesce.
