The 2006 Pinot Noir Select is the entry level. Medium ruby with a fragrant perfume of red cherry and raspberry, this layered, easy-going wine has excellent concentration and a silky finish. This crowd-pleasing effort will drink well for another 5-7 years.
Vigneron Doug Tunnell is a relative veteran of the Willamette Valley scene, having planted his first parcel in 1992. His vineyards are certified biodynamic and all of the wines are sourced from estate fruit. In the 2006 vintage, Tunnell produced two outstanding Chardonnays which should not be overlooked.
