The 2009 Crianza is handpicked and aged in French and American oak over 14 months. It has a pure Dorset plum, red cherry and tea leaf bouquet that is well-defined, with a hint of marmalade emerging with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy tannins. It offers lively, crisp red berry fruit laced with dried herbs and a tang of bitter chocolate. It displays succinctly infused oak on the understated, elegant finish. This is a well-made, pleasurable Crianza. Drink now-2017.
