One of the most enjoyable Prieure-Lichines, the 1971 has for the last several years provided immensely satisfying drinking. Fully mature and possibly just beginning its decline, the 1971 is very perfumed and aromatic, with a bouquet redolent of spices, berry fruit, and oak. On the palate, it is soft, supple, and so, so velvety. Anticipated maturity: Now-may be in decline.
