A little strange, with bramble and dark fruit and lots of big and saturated cherry flavors, the 2016 Aglianico del Taburno from Fontanavecchia lacks a little focus. Perhaps this is because there is so much going on at once with no clear direction. Production was about 27,000 bottles.
