The 2014 Aglianico del Taburno is a subtle and nicely balanced wine that has been softened by its years in the bottle. This mid-weight wine opens to cherry, dried blackberry and spice. It sees one year in French oak, and there are lighter touches of smoke, cigar box and exotic cedar wood as well. Some 12,000 bottles were made.
