The 2000 Barolo Castiglione is made principally from grapes of the township of Castiglione Falletto where the Vietti cellars are located. A medium garnet, it features dried fruit and flowers on the nose, a balanced, medium-weight palate, much freshness and force on the mid-palate and the close, and some interesting tar and leather notes for additional complexity.
