Checking in as a final blend of 60% Grenache, 30% Syrah and 10% Mourvedre, the 2012 Vacqueyras Cuvee Classique is a forward, supple and sexy effort that's loaded with notions of black cherries, black raspberries, loamy earth and peppery, Provencal herbs. Medium to full-bodied, utterly seamless, silky and polished, it's as Provencal as they come and will continue to dish out plenty of pleasure over the coming 4-5 years.
