The 2015 Nackenheim Rothenberg Riesling Spatlese is very clear and subtle on the nose, less wild than the Kühling-Gillot, but subtle and with delicate herbal flavors. Round and elegant on the palate, this is a pretty dense, rich and sweet Sp?tlese that fails to dance over the palate, due to a lack of transparency and finesse. The wine is well structured, but lacks bit of friskiness and clarity.
