Gunderloch's 2013 Nackenheim Rothenberg Riesling Sp?tlese starts with a very clear, iron-rich and well-concentrated fruit aroma on the nose. Bottled with 8.5% alcohol, the wine is sweet, quite rich and noble on the palate and reveals a rather Auslese character. Intense, elegant and well balanced it has a lovely juiciness, a very good length as well as a lingering salinity. A very sensual Sp?tlese.
