Pale yellow. Pungent aromas of lemon, gooseberry and grass, with a note of red bell pepper. Bracing, dry and classic, showing the variety's peppery herbaceousness but avoiding hardness. A cooler styled wine with good subtle intensity and length. From this vineyard at the top of a slope, one can see both the Atlantic and Indian Oceans, says Gary Jordan. These wines are sold in the U.S. under the Jardin label.
