The 2008 The Pixie Syrah is sourced from two of the top sites in the Red Mountain AVA. It sports an alluring bouquet of cigar box, smoked meat, lavender, plum, and blueberry setting the stage for a round, plush Syrah with a smooth texture and a firm tannin structure. With excellent volume and impeccable balance, it will evolve for 2-3 years and offer prime drinking through 2020. Gorman Winery, owned, operated, and staffed entirely by Chris Gorman, began in 2002 and currently produces 3000 cases out of a Woodinville warehouse. The new releases are uniformly outstanding.
