Owner/winemaker Chris Gorman produces 600-700 cases of full-throttle wines from some of Washington’s top vineyards. The 2004 Syrah “The Pixie” spent 20 months in French oak, 35% new. It has an engaging perfume of smoke, sage, truffle, meat, and blueberry. Full-bodied, dense, and expansive on the palate, this superb Syrah has oodles of ripe fruit, great balance, and nicely concealed tannins which should permit another 4-6 years of development. Drink this user-friendly wine through 2022.
