The 2014 Arnauld has a ripe and slightly showy bouquet with dark cherry and cassis fruit, perhaps lacking the sophistication of some of its peers. The palate is medium-bodied with a sorbet-fresh entry, almost Burgundian in fruit profile, with clementine and citrus notes neatly complementing the red cherry and strawberry fruit on the finish. Enjoy this very commendable Cru Bourgeois over the next 5-6 years. Tasted September 2016.
