The 2005 Brunello di Montalcino from Castello Romitorio is a fresh, juicy offering endowed with gorgeous dark fruit. Expressive aromatics are woven throughout, adding complexity. This mid-weight, understated Brunello reveals outstanding length and tons of class, with a round, caressing finish that begs for a second taste. It is a terrific effort in this vintage.
