A wine I had not encountered for a while, the 2010 Tempranillo Reserva showed lots of roasted coffee aromas over the core of ripe fruit with plenty of spices and an earthy touch. The palate is full-bodied with some fine, chalky tannins that provide for a slightly drying finish. This is a modern, ripe and extracted XL Tempranillo, very good in its style. 42,000 bottles produced.
