The 2010 Auzells is a blend of 41% Macabeu, 18% Chardonnay, 16% Sauvignon Blanc, 10% Muller Thurgau, 10% Albarino, 3% Riesling and 2% Muscat, with 10% of the crop fermented in French oak barrels. It has a pleasant honeysuckle nose that, like the 2011, unfolds with time in the glass, offering faint garrigue and a touch of mint with aeration. The palate is well-balanced, with subtle orange zest notes on the entry and an attractive, creamy texture. It demonstrates good weight in the mouth and crisp acidity that leads to a composed, leesy finish. Drink now-2015.
