This has a rocky, earthy nose – good sense of terroir here with fine definition. Dark cherry, a touch of strawberry and undergrowth, but it is that stony quality that prevails. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, nice weight, very natural and perhaps lacking a touch of tension towards the finish. But it has a graceful quality to it and the finish is silky smooth.
