The 2009 Anjoli is a blend of 60% Garnacha, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot and 10% Syrah from the Porrera sub-region of Priorat. It has a simple bouquet of toasty black fruit laced with dried herbs. The palate is medium-bodied with oaky ripe blackberry and blueberry and is infused with crisp acidity. This supple red offers savory flavors of smoked meat, mountain herb and mineral, with a core of berry fruit, all supported by light, firm tannins.
