Ardevol’s 2007 Anjoli is made up of 40% Garnacha, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, with the balance Merlot and Syrah aged for 16 months in seasoned French oak. Dark ruby-colored, it displays an attractive nose of mineral, black cherry, and wild blueberry. Sweet, lively and round on the palate, it has layered savory fruit, plenty of spice, good balance, and a lengthy, fruit-filled finish. It is an excellent value in Priorat for drinking over the next 5-6 years.
