Dunham Cellars’ 2006 Trutina is a blend of 49% Cabernet Sauvignon, 48% Merlot, and 3% Syrah. Purple-colored, it reveals an enticing perfume of toasty oak, scorched earth, black cherry, and licorice. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it has layers of spicy fruit, excellent depth, outstanding concentration, a firm structure, and plenty of length.
