Winemaker Eric Dunham says this is the winery’s best-selling red. The basically Bordeaux blend now includes about 13% Syrah, which stands out in the nose as an earthy, composty note. This wine needs just a little time to breathe open, and then the mix of tangy red fruits, spice, earth and toast comes into play.
