Like all wines from its appellation, the 2000 Nemea is produced entirely from Agirotyko (also known as St.-George, it can be found spelled in numerous ways, including Agiorghitiko and Agiorgitko). A superb value, it reveals tarry black fruit scents and a juicy, light to medium-bodied personality. Lush, spicy, and expressive, this wine bursts with cumin-laced jammy blackberries whose flavors linger throughout its lengthy, edge-free finish. Drink it over the next 5 years.
