The multi-grape blend of Garnacha Negra, Syrah, Merlot, Cari?ena and Cabernet Sauvignon called 2012 La Conrería went through partial malolactic in barrique where it aged for three months. A young red with a short time in oak opens to some lactic aromas and a mixture of red and black fruit, some slate minerality and creaminess from the oak. The palate is medium-bodied but shows the heat form the vintage and could do with a little more acidity. 13,300 bottles produced.
