Do not let the pale colour of the 2010 Diorama Garnatxa Red put you off. Sourced from 30-year-old vines, undergoing 5-days skin maceration and 4 months aging in oak (50% new), it has a simple but delightful bouquet of brambly red berry fruit. The palate is light but well-balanced with fine tannins that step back to allow the crisp Morello and strawberry fruit to shine. The finish is crisp and short, inviting another sip. This is a case of “l(fā)ess is more.” Drink now-2014. No known US importer.
