Fermented in French oak (25% new) and employing 100% malo-lactic, the 2010 Single Vineyard Taylors Pass Chardonnay was matured in oak for 16 months. It has pronounced tropical notes of passion fruit and pineapple with hints of melons, toasty oak and butterscotch. Peachy in the mouth with the oak standing a little apart from the fruit, it has a nice creaminess the texture and a long buttered toast laced finish. Approachable now, it should keep to 2015+.
