A co-fermented blend of Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Riesling from Seresin’s Home Vineyard, the 2009 Chiaroscuro was naturally fermented in one-year-old French oak puncheon. It offers fragrant aromas of orange blossom, fresh apple slices, white peaches and lemon peel with just a hint of yeasty / toastiness. Dry and medium to full bodied, it has a pleasant suggestion of creaminess in the mouth with lively acidity and a long stone fruit laced finish. Drinking now, it should keep to through 2013+.
