Expect delicate notes of tar, smoke and pressed rose from the 2014 Barolo Fontanafredda Proprietà in Fontanafredda. This vineyard cru is officially recognized by the appellation, yet it is farmed and owned by a single entity: the folks at Fontanafredda. The wine is graceful and ethereal. Some 15,000 bottles were made.
