The 2010 Barbaresco Currá shows a lighter style with less heft and weight to its consistency. This wine will require more time in the cellar to show its full potential. Dark fruit, spice and mineral tones emerge from the bouquet, but you also get cola and balsam herb. The tannins are firm, precise and delineated.

Perfumed, with hints of rose, cinnamon and white pepper yielding to cherry, strawberry, leather and tobacco flavors. Though firmly structured, this has complexity and depth, with a long aftertaste of saline minerality.
