The 2004 Joseph “Moda” Cabernet Sauvignon (85%) – Merlot (15%) is made with a significant portion of the Cabernet dried on straw mats in the style of Amarone. Purple-colored, it delivers a toasty, smoky nose with elements of espresso, chocolate, black currant and blackberry liqueur. Full-bodied with a firm entry onto the palate, the wine has layered fruit, ripe black fruit flavors, and enough structure to evolve for 6-8 years. It will provide pleasure through 2030.
