Fashioned from fruit hailing from the Le Meix Sous le Chateau, the 2001 Meursault was crafted from purchased must. Loads of tropical fruits, mostly mango and pineapple, emanate from this offering's aromatics. Light to medium-bodied and satin-textured, it is a highly expressive wine with complex flavors of minerals, passion fruit, orange marmalade, and pears. This supple, suave, lengthy Meursault should be drunk over the next 3-4 years.
