The Schaefers’ 2004 Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Kabinett offers discrete aromatic expressions of site-typical apple and vanilla, then adds a bracing and lovely note of saline minerality in the mouth, finishing with Mosel-archetypal juicy green apple, citrus, herb, and salt.
