There is clearly more fruit on the nose of the 2010 Vieilles Vignes compared to the 2011, with lifted raspberry, red cherry and strawberry scents that are nicely controlled. The palate is medium-bodied with a rounded entry, soft tannins, good acidity and the structure only making itself feel present towards the finish. This is an excellent little Savigny that is fresh, natural and charming. Tasted May 2013.
