These wines are amazingly consistent on the nose—they all smell the same—it is in the mouth where we find identity and purpose. The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is elegant, bloody, savory and spiced, with firm tannin and plenty of drive. If anything, time has done nothing to soften the tannins—they are fine, make no mistake, but there is little amelioration into the fruit. They stand alone. They are impressive.
