The 2012 Menfi Inzolia Dietro le Case opens to a luminous, golden straw color and straightforward aromas of citrus, chamomile blossom, crushed mineral and talc powder. Dietro le Case (“beyond the houses”) refers to vines in the Tenuta Belicello vineyard planted by Marilena’s father some 40 years ago with locally available clones that adapted over the years to this site.
