The fruit-driven 2007 Hermitage is not very weighty, but it exhibits good density, elegance, and overall style. Belle was intelligent enough to not push extraction in a year where it was not possible to make huge wines. The 2007 should drink well for 10-12 years.

Intelligently made, fresh, lively, concentrated wines emerge from the Domaine Belle, a modestly-sized Crozes-Hermitage estate that remains under the radar of most consumers. A Crozes-Hermitage cuvee from the granite soils of Larnage has recently been added to the portfolio.
