The 2004 Cote Rotie Cote Rozier is a more powerful, primordial style of wine with a meaty density to it, ripe tannin, good acidity, and much more concentration and length than most wines from this vintage. It is already starting to show some softness, so drink it over the next 7-8 years. Bonnefond has emerged as one of the finest producers of Cote Rotie with a strong showing in nearly every vintage except for the poorer years like 2002.
