As disappointing as so many 1993 Cote d'Or white Burgundies are, it is encouraging to see how many top Maconnais estates have made fine wines. This producer has turned in three exceptional efforts from Pouilly-Fuisse. The stylish, medium to full-bodied 1993 Pouilly-Fuisse Clos Reyssie Reserve Particuliere exhibits good depth, ripeness, a touch of toasty new oak, and an underlying mineral component to its ripe Chardonnay fruit. Drink it over the next 2-3 years. Importer: Kysela Pere et Fils, Winchester, VA; tel (703) 888-7939
