The 2011 Reserva is mostly Tempranillo with some 10% Graciano and 5% Mazuelo; the grapes come from a warm and ripe vintage and the aged for two years in American and French oak barrels. It comes through as very ripe, which is consistent with the style of the vintage, mixing balsamic notes from the aging with fruit-driven ones. The palate has liqueur-like sensations of macerated black fruit. 75,000 bottles.
