The 2010 Spiga is very aromatic, with notes of dried flowers and small red berries (raspberries and strawberries) and restrained spices. The palate is medium-bodied, ripe and fresh, with abundant, slightly dusty tannins, which would do well with some lamb chops. A showy crianza. Drink 2014-2018.
This is the third country that I review for O. Fournier. They have wines in Argentina, Chile and in Spain, in Ribera del Duero, the birthplace of owner Jose Manuel Ortega.
