Looking at the Gigondas releases, the 2011 Gigondas is a solid effort from this producer. Offering up attractive black cherry, tinges of leather and dried spices, it is medium-bodied, fresh and nicely focused on the palate, with traces of the dusty tannin that’s common in the vintage.
