Produced from a 0.5 hectare parcel of 25-year-old vines the Lecheneaut brothers purchased from the Chateau de Bligny, the 1999 Nuits-St.-Georges Les Pruliers is a medium to dark ruby-colored wine with fresh, sweet cherry, and black fruit aromas. This dense, broad, and profound wine is medium to full-bodied and silky-textured. Loads of candied red and black fruits are found in this lush, opulent, and exceptionally long-finishing beauty. Anticipated maturity: 2004-2012.
